What Do Your Home Spa Days Need More Of?

If you’re someone who loves a good spa day, for both your mental and physical health, it’s time to rethink your spa day habits. After all, there’s a good chance you’re skimping on a few crucial steps, and you might want to include them in the plan for your next bit of serious ‘me time’. You’re not alone in needing to spend some time in a face mask and wrapped up in a towel every now and then, but we need to be sure you’re doing what’s best for yourself here! So, let’s go through these much neglected areas of your body below.

spa dayBuffing Your Nails

Maybe your nails need a little more attention? Maybe those cuticles need softening and pushing back? Maybe you need to rub a little oil into them, to ensure they’re hydrated and looking soft and shiny? And maybe you could do with buffing your nails a little, to better their shape, and make you happy to simply look at your hands when you’re done?

Don’t worry, this is all easy to pull off with a home manicure kit. They’re cheap to buy, but they’re easy to put together too; all you need is some cuticle oil, a bit of hot, soapy water, a spare coffee stirrer, and a nail buffer. All are easily sourced!

Working on Your Bones

Then comes the more heavy treatments you might want to start doing. After all, during your spa days, how often do you manage to give yourself a massage? Because if there’s no one else around, and you don’t have a bit of equipment to get those hard to reach spots for you, you’re out of luck!

And that’s why you might want to think about not only soothing your muscles, but also giving your bones a good crack right now, which is a lot easier to do than you may think. You can also get your hands on all kinds of equipment from ScripHessco to help with this effort, so you won’t be dramatically stretching and contorting yourself beyond belief.

Hydrating Your Hair

And then comes the step in which you take care of your hair! It might be a big project, because you’ve just been washing and rinsing recently, and you want to dedicate some real time to rehydrating those strands and making them nice and soft and shiny again.

First, you may want to consider how well your hair is doing; for example, if it’s gotten to a very dry state, you might need some more heavy duty treatments here. Otherwise, you just need a good conditioner, a good hair mask, and some time to let it all soak in and wash out. Be sure to relax while you’re at it!

Your home spa days are very good for you, so don’t give up on them! However, think about changing your home spa routine a little, as you may have been neglecting some parts of your body for way too long.
