The 15th Anniversary of Translations: Seattle Transgender Film Festival has not been cancelled. It is evolving with the times and will be celebrated completely online this year. The teams at Three Dollar Bill Cinema and the Northwest Film Forum are working very hard to create a seamless online experience. You can obey all the rules of social distancing while enjoying the best in new transgender films.
Proceeding online means that people from around the country and even the world can experience Translations: Seattle Transgender Film Festival for the first time. You might not be out at the theater but you won’t be alone. The world is gathering for this new festival experience.
Three Dollar Bill Cinema has a wonderful line-up of screenings and panels for you to watch over the weekend! The festival runs May 7-10th. The new program is embracing a pay what you can ticket pricing system 0-$25. You must pay for tickets at least an hour ahead of each screening to receive the link and password. Remember that more than 95% of the work that will be screened and presented has been made by transgender, gender queer, and non-binary filmmakers and participants!
