“Thor: Ragnarok” Is A Rock ‘n’ Roll Dream Almost Ruled By Powerful Women

We find Thor imprisoned on the “wrong” side of the universe without, Mjölnir, his mighty hammer. He is in a race against the clock to return to Asgard and stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization. Hela is ready to take over and deliver Ragnarok as soon as she can. To get home, Thor, must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!

We are introduced to new characters as well as our old faithful comrades in this film. “Thor: Ragnarok” is directed by Taika Waititi and returns Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki). They are joined by Cate Blanchett (Hela), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Karl Urban (Skurge), with Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk) and Anthony Hopkins (Odin).

Kevin Feige is producing with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Craig Kyle & Christopher Yost and Stephany Folsom and Eric Pearson.  Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok” thunders into U.S. theaters on November 3, 2017.
