Theatre lovers rejoice! The Paramount Theatre announced it’s upcoming 2023-24 Broadway Across America Season, and it’s definitely not to be missed! There are six (ha!) shows and three that are add-ons. Together they are something worthy of the wait!

SIX – The Musical (July 12-23, 2023)
DIVORCED! BEHEADED! DIED! DIVORCED! BEHEADED! SURVIVED!
Six follows the lives (and deaths) of the six wives of Henry VIII. In the afterlife, the women form a girl band and decide that whichever of them suffered the most being married to Henry, would be the leader. Each of them tells their own story – and does it in the fashion of a current pop diva.

TINA – The Tina Turner Musical (September 12 – 17, 2023)
What more can be said about one of the greatest rock-n-roll divas of the last century! Using the music of the Diva herself, the musical follows the life of young Anna Mae Bullock to becoming Tina Turner!

** HADESTOWN (October 31 – November 05, 2023)  BONUS SHOW ADD ON
The hit musical returns to Seattle after it’s sold out run in 2022! The musical uses songs of Jazz and Blues in the retelling the tale of Orpheus and Eurydice.

M.J. – The Musical (December 07-17, 2023)
The musical recreates Michael Jackson’s world when creating the 1992 Dangerous World Tour. Whatever anyone thinks of Michael Jackson, he was an incredible showman, superb dancer and major contributor to America’s Musical Catalogue.

** THE BOOK OF MORMON (January 09 – 14, 2024)  BONUS SHOW ADD ON
Hello! The smash show returns to Seattle. One of the most popular shows on Broadway today, and definitely one of the funniest if not irreverent. From the creators of South Park, the musical tells the story of Mormon missionaries in Africa.

** ALADDIN (April 24 – 28, 2024)  BONUS SHOW ADD ON
The beloved Disney musical returns to Seattle. Based on the Disney film of the same name, the full-length animated feature comes alive on the stage.

The Girl From The North Country (June 25 – 30, 2024)
Set in 1934 Duluth, Minnesota, the lives of a random group of travelers all cross in a guesthouse. The music and lyrics are newly reimagined songs from Bob Dylan.

COMPANY (July 23-28, 2024)
Sondheim’s musical dedicated to marriage and the crazy road getting there. This new version changes the genders of several characters including a gay couple and a female ‘Bobbie’. Bobbie is celebrating her 35th birthday and searching for the answers of why she isn’t married yet, and the conflicts of desire in being single or married in the 21st Century.

The season is set! The curtain is about to rise, and your seat is waiting!
