Review: Disney Pixar’s Incredibles 2 Worth The 14-Year Long Wait…

It only took 14 long years but we finally have our beloved Incredibles 2! Jack-Jack, Bob, Helen, Violet and Dash Parr are back! They haven’t aged a bit. Must be movie magic! Get your tickets today! This is the first blockbuster of the summer and you know you want to see it at the theater!

Well, Incredibles 2 takes up right where the original left off. The city is under attack by the Underminer (John Ratzenberger)! Helen/Elastagirl (Holly Hunter), Bob/Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson), Violet (Sarah Vowell), and Dash (Huck Milner) must save the day. I don’t really want to give away too many spoilers but you know with Mr. Incredible on the scene there will be quite a bit of damage. He will also get in trouble once again, following me here? Will they have to move out of town and join the witness protection program again? Probably…

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT – In the midst of battling the Underminer villain, Violet protects her family by throwing one of her most super force fields yet. Featuring Sarah Vowell as the voice of Violet, Holly Hunter as the voice of Helen, Craig T. Nelson as the voice of Bob and Huck Milner as the voice of Dash, Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018. ©2018 Disney•Pixar. All Rights Reserved.

We have some new people on the scene though. They seem to be on the up and up. Winston Deavor (Bob Odenkirk) and his sister Evelyn Deavor (Catherine Keener) run a multi-million dollar company and want Supers legal and back in the public eye. Their father really believed in Supers and seemed to have instilled that love and interest in his children.

Winston wants to hire Elastagirl to fight crime and bring a gentler and less destructive face to Supers. You can imagine, this might cause a little friction at home with Mr. Incredible. Is he just supposed to sit back and become Mr. Mom… Winston’s sister, Evelyn, is the creative inventor type. She designs all sort of tech to help Elastagirl on her journey. Oh, she even hires a new rival designer for Elastagirl’s costume. Don’t tell Edna Mode (Brad Bird)!

BEDTIME STORY – In “Incredibles 2,” Bob navigates life at home with the Parr kids while Helen leads a campaign to bring back Supers. But when baby Jack-Jack shows some surprising changes - including the appearance of a few unexpected super powers—Bob finds that it’s challenging to keep up (and awake), even for Mr. Incredible. We all know that Jack-Jack (Eli Fucile) has powers. We saw them! Evidently the Parr’s did not. The entire family seems clueless to the multitude of talents this baby possesses. Mr. Mom, I mean Mr. Incredible, finds out soon enough. As soon as mom is on assignment Jack-Jack decides to act out. He has some awesome powers! Cookies will not be enough to contain them.

Lucius Best/Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) and Edna Mode are in here as well. Don’t miss this amazing movie about family, girl power and so much more. Walt Disney Studios put a lot of thought and effort into making this a dynamic and entertaining movie. Get to the theater and check it out!
