This fall, JORDY released Mind Games, his debut album featuring fan favorite tracks such as “I Just Wanna Be Loved,” “Tomorrow” ft. OSTON and viral hit “Long Distance,” which blew up on TikTok. JORDY has garnered over 245k followers on TikTok, as well as over 825,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
JORDY took a brief moment to give us a little glimpse in the tour:
Earle: What should people expect at your shows?
JORDY: Expect to dance and laugh and cry and be your damn self. My shows are safe spaces for everyone and a place to simply let loose and live in the moment. Upbeat songs, intimate moments, and everything in between.
Earle: What would you like people to take away from this tour?
JORDY; That I’m real! That everything I say in my lyrics is true to me. I love being able to connect with fans in person to learn about them and show them a side of me they can’t see on socials.
Earle: What makes you feel creative?
JORDY: I’m constantly inspired by other artists and friends of mine. I feel like they’re always pushing me to step out of my creative comfort zone. Also my real life experiences; breakups and heartbreaks can suck, but do they motivate creative drive? Absolutely.
Earle: Who do you dream of collaborating with?
JORDY: FLETCHER and Julia Michaels are probably my consistent top two.
Earle: How did you feel when Meghan Trainor proclaimed you as her JAMMMM on TikTok?
JORDY; Absolutely SHOOK. Meghan is one of the best writers of our generation so it truly meant everything that she was digging the music.
“Mind Games. My debut album. To be honest, I have had trouble putting into words the feelings I have attached to this project. This album is what I have been living and breathing for the past year; a labor of love that was made with the people I love most. These songs are each a mind game that this past year has played on me in one way or another; bad hookups, long distance relationships, body dysmorphia, unrequited love, self doubt, self discovery, the list goes on. I have been putting out music for the past three and a half years, but this project to me feels like the beginning. I know who I am, I’ve found my sound, I know exactly what I want to say. This album is for everyone who has supported me and my music over the years, especially for the ones who have been around since the very beginning. I am here because of you – and I am so excited for this piece of me to finally be yours. “Mind Games” is out NOW!” – JORDY
