“Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” is based on the bestselling 12 book series. We follow two overly imaginative pranksters named George and Harold, who hypnotize their principal into thinking he’s a ridiculously enthusiastic, incredibly dimwitted superhero named Captain Underpants. The book series won a Disney Adventures Kids’ Choice Award on April 4, 2006.
DreamWorks hopes to follow the success of “Shrek”, “How to Train Your Dragon”, “Over the Hedge”, “Rise of the Guardians” and “Home”, which were also based on novels or comic strips. They have gathered an A-list cast of comedy superstars headed by Kevin Hart and Ed Helms. Check out the trailer below:
