Atomic Blonde Explodes On To The Summer Movie Scene

Atomic Blonde will hit theaters July 28, 2017. It already wowed crowds at SXSW. Oscar® winner Charlize Theron explodes on to the scene in this breakneck action-thriller only two years after she showed us her grit in “Mad Max: Fury Road.” She is joined by James McAvoy, John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella and Toby Jones.Directed by David Leitch of “John Wick” and upcoming “Deadpool 2.” The film is based on the Oni Press graphic novel series “The Coldest City,” by Antony Johnston & illustrator Sam Hart. Kurt Johnstad of “300” wrote the screenplay.

Agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is the crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service. She is equal parts spy, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission. Her mission is to enter Berlin, alone, to smuggle a priceless dossier out of the destabilized city. She partners with embedded station chief David Percival (McAvoy) to navigate her way through the deadliest spy games not knowing who if anyone she can trust.

Even the soundtrack to this movie is rocking. We have all the headliners from 1989 including Depeche Mode and New Order. Imagine making out with Charlize Theron to some of your favorite tunes while she kills everyone else in the room. She is in control and ready to rock your summer. She has been compared to James Bond 007 in this role and I can understand why.
