Alaska Airlines’ Statement On Seattle Pride Confusion

Alaska Airlines just released a statement regarding the confusion caused by now former Seattle Pride President Eric Bennett. They also list some of the fun events they are moving forward with to celebrate Pride here in Seattle.

“We’re thrilled to learn that the Seattle Pride organization has agreed to welcome our GLOBE employees and allow them to show their company and community pride like they have for more than a decade. Alaska Airlines has been longtime supporters of our LGBTQ community, and we’re looking forward to joining our customers and fellow employees at the Seattle PRIDE parade and throughout PRIDE month here in Seattle, as well as seven other West Coast cities including Honolulu, Puerto Vallarta and Anchorage. Our plan is to continue our community outreach to support PRIDE throughout the entire weekend which includes a social media campaign, three-day party at the Sun Liquor Distillery; and another exclusive partnership that we’ll announce in the coming weeks.”
